Free to launch
Creating your club account is entirely free — no monthly subscription, no sign-up fee. Publishing a campaign on SanoSport does, however, have a cost per day of visibility, multiplied by the duration you choose (see below).
Cost per campaign day
A campaign's listing cost is calculated as:
cost = max(7, days) × per-day rate
The per-day rate is 0.50 GBP/day. The minimum campaign window is 7 days, validated on both create and extend, so the absolute minimum cost of a campaign is 7 × 0.50 = 3.50 GBP, paid once at publication (or drawn down from the account credit — see below).
Account credit
To avoid opening a Stripe Checkout for every campaign or extension, every club has its own credit balance that can be topped up separately. The loaded amount stays available on the club's account and is used automatically when publishing or extending any subsequent campaign.
- If credit ≥ campaign cost → automatic payment from the credit balance, with no Stripe round-trip.
- If credit < campaign cost → pay-by-card-only option, or (in a follow-up step) a mixed credit + card payment for the difference.
- Current balance and transaction history are visible in Club dashboard → Account credit; all associated Stripe invoices are listed in Club dashboard → Invoices.
No sponsorship commission
SanoSport takes no commission on sponsorships received. Every contribution paid by a sponsor reaches the club in full, via its Stripe Connect account. Platform revenue comes only from the one-off listing fee paid when a new campaign is published.
Card payments (Stripe)
The Stripe platform is used only to facilitate card payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe, our payments partner. Stripe charges its own card-processing fees (see Stripe's pricing), deducted automatically from the amount transferred to the club. SanoSport adds no fee on top of Stripe's.
To be eligible to receive card payments, a club must have successfully completed Stripe Connect onboarding. Until the Stripe account is active, the card-payment option does not appear on the campaign page and sponsors cannot complete a card payment. Onboarding can be started from Club dashboard → Stripe Connect setup; the current status is shown directly in the club dashboard.
Bank transfer payments
As an alternative to card, sponsors can choose to pay by bank transfer. In this case the money does not go through Stripe and does not go through SanoSport — the sponsor transfers directly to the club's bank account, based on the contract generated by the platform.
- At the end of the sponsorship flow, the sponsor receives the contract, pre-filled with the club's banking details (IBAN, bank name, legal entity) and the payment reference.
- The sponsor initiates the transfer from their own bank using the contract details, then uploads the proof of payment (statement / signed payment order) in their SanoSport account.
- The club confirms the incoming transfer from its own dashboard. Until confirmed, the sponsorship is shown with the status "Awaiting payment".
- Bank transfer is available only for clubs that have filled an official IBAN in their profile; it does not require Stripe onboarding.
- No SanoSport fee and no Stripe fee apply to bank transfers — only the bank fees charged by the sponsor's and club's banks.
When the money arrives at the club
For card payments, sponsorships reach the club's bank account according to the payout schedule configured in the Stripe Connect account — usually within 2-7 working days of payment confirmation. Clubs can track every transaction and the status of payouts directly from the Stripe dashboard.
For bank transfer payments, the money reaches the club's bank account directly with no intermediary — usually the same day or within 1-2 working days, depending on the sender's bank.
